@Andy: If your blog is not spammy and you become inactive for months, that's fine, don't worry about this.

@Jonathan: Excessive linking to other websites or copy&pasted content may trigger the spam flag and you blog can get deleted. We take spam very serious, because we receive around 1000 spammy signups per day.

I first tried WangGuard which can scan all existing blogs, it did a great job and almost deleted 7 000 splogs out of total 15 000 sites.

But i still find a splog every now and then. So scanning them would be very helpful.

My blog just vanished into thin air, although I wrote two posts according to the five day rule. Please reactivate it and send me a confirmation, or otherwise an explanation if you can't restore the blog. Thank you very much!

I'm kinda confused here... What exactly do you mean by inactivity? I mean, say, if there are no articles for a week (or maybe more), may mean I'm ill or admitted to hospital something similar. Is there any specific limit to being inactive? Can you guys activate the account again (after it has been deleted)?

Thanks!

@adam: Use <a href="http://blogdive.com/login/" rel="nofollow">login</a> or your.blog.url/wp-admin

@Judyth: Copy and pasted content from other sites may also flag your blog as subject to deletion. Also because of the huge volume of spam we receive, we sometimes delete semi-inactive blogs by mistake, that's why it's recommended to write at least 2 blog posts as soon as possible.

Hello,

Something is very wrong, I think. I set up my blog a few days ago and now it seems to have vanished. Since all it contained was one post and one page of text, neither of which was pornographic or otherwise improper, and it's only been 2-3 days since I made the page so it wasn't inactive either...but all I get is the Blogdive homepage when I try to log in, or even visit.

What has happened, and why? Please let me know whether this is a temporary problem or whether I need to find some other host.

We can not know. We believe in the goodwill of the people, but there will be a limit on queries per month per site. if the site exceeds queries, you must pay equally. the limit will be high. if a site make more than 500 queries per day, 15,000 per month, We will understand that make more than $200 per month and We wil charge $4-$5 month.

Information about WangGuard here:
